Vice President- Erynn Michelle
Erynn has been involved in theatre and performance since she was five years old. She studied theatre at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Tx, and has been involved in community theatre ever since. She is actively involved in the DFW theatre community, both on and off stage. When she is not in one theatre or another, she works at a large investments firm because they won’t pay her if she doesn’t. She calls the Keller, Tx area home, and is thrilled to join the Executive Board of the Theatre of North Texas!
Secretary- Andrew Chard
Andy is an entrepreneur and local performer having worked at several equity and non-equity theaters around Dallas-Fort Worth. He has extensive modeling and on-stage experience, however, most recently he has focused on his professional endeavors along with being an avid supporter of local art and artists. He brings management , business development, and strategic planning experience to Theatre of North Texas at a crucial time for our program. Joining the executive board allows opportunities for development artistically and professionally for our organization.
Director of Marketing and Communications- Crys Kelly
Crys Kelly began her theatre career as a student in high school starring in One Act Plays and performing in top choirs. She continued her study of the arts and music in college while earning a Business Management degree. Crys has always been involved in several areas of performance and production in and outside of her professional career and most recently has been performing in local DFW community theatre productions. Crys has many years’ experience in business operations and development including marketing and sales. She is proud to serve as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Theatre of North Texas.
Director of Development- Elaine Plybon
Elaine Plybon has been an active volunteer and patron in the DFW theater community for many years. She holds a master’s degree in Sociology and is a certified Forecast Practitioner, which serves her well as Director of Development for Theatre of North Texas, providing insight into meaningful programming and outreach. Elaine works for the Keller Independent School District by day and has been the driving force behind the development of a robust online and blended program in Keller schools. Elaine is honored and excited to be giving back to the Keller area community by serving on the board of this innovative theater.
Production Liaison- David Plybon
David Plybon has been seen acting and singing on many stages in DFW community theaters since 2005. To the position of Theater Liaison, he combines his theater experience with expertise in human relations through his work for the U.S. Postal Service, serving as manager of EEO Compliance and Appeals. David’s thorough understanding of human capital management and compliance will be an asset to the theater as it grows with increasing numbers of volunteers and staff.
